Raptors provide illusionary effect with baseline graphic

| From: Alex

Did this throw anyone else off?

While watching last night's game, I thought Randolph crashed over the top of some sort of triangular foam thing on the baseline. It turned out to only be a graphic that was painted to "pop out."

Pretty clever.

The KFAN Timberwolves Blog had this to say:

"The court was painted to look like an extra wide sandwich board type of a sign. At first I thought it really was one of those signs, which led me to think that could be remarkably dangerous(and potentially illegal) considering how many players end up walking/running/jumping on the baseline. Then when I saw refs/ballboys/girls/players running over the sign, I realized it was painted, and then it just started messing with my head. Cool paint, but awfully strange. I wish there were pictures showing what it looks like from the other side of the court."
