Kevin Love talks facial hair

Today during media availability after practice, we tackled all of the tough topics: flirting with a .500 record, injury report and... Kevin Love's beard.

AP writer Jon Krawczynski was the first one to ask what everyone was thinking: are you letting the beard grow?

The stoic Love replied, "yes."

So is he waiting for a milestone or certain moment to shave it off?

"I guess you could say .500 (record). But I'm going to let it go... maybe I'll switch it up, maybe I won't. Same thing with the hair — I don't care about it."

Love went on to explain that so far, the reaction from his favorite women has been positive.

"My lady loves it; that's all that matters. My mom doesn't care, sister doesn't care, grandma doesn't care... 4 for 4 from the field; I've got all of those checked."

Star Tribune writer Kent Youngblood noted that his new look is very Minnesotan — even Paul Bunyan-esque.

"I like it — it's like a lumberjack look," said Love. "I should get a plaid shirt... although Pek might be more suited for that."
